A camp program was organized at Gizem Doğan Learning by Living Center in order to provide psychological support and an environment intertwined with nature for the women studying at Bülbülzade Foundation's Sewing Workshops and handicraft courses in İslahiye, Nurdağı and Gaziantep.The program started with a welcome speech by Earthquake Region Coordinator Zemzem Çetin and introductory activities. Various sportive activities such as trekking, climbing, bocce and archery were organized at the campsite. In addition, a session titled “Interactive Interpersonal Conversation” was organized by Seyre Batuk.The camp program, which lasted two days in total, ended after the collective photo shoot.

“I Wonder Allah, I Know My Prophets” WorkshopBülbülzülzade Foundation Education and Teacher Unit held the workshop program titled “I Wonder Allah, I Know My Prophets” on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Zade Life Hotel within the foundation. Various university, secondary and primary school educators, academics, experts and parents participated in the training program, which aims to guide children's religious curiosity.The program included important sessions and workshops on how educators and parents should approach the questions children face in the process of getting to know Allah.The first session of the day started with an interview with author Özkan Öze on his book “Allah'ı Merak Ediyorum”. The background of children's questions about Allah, parents' attitudes towards these questions and the correct ways to answer them were discussed in detail.In the second part of the program, a workshop session titled “Children's Religious Curiosity and Adults' Approach” was held. Participants made evaluations on the child-centered approach in religious education through group presentations.Nurcan Yıldırım's talk titled “Style and Prophet Lives”, which started after the lunch break, emphasized how the prophet parables should be explained to children and the importance of a language based on love and compassion.The 2nd Workshop Session of the program was titled “Discussions on the Lives of the Prophets”. Five different groups discussed how to answer the questions that children are most curious about with excerpts from the lives of five prophets from Adam to Moses. In the workshops; various topics such as “Why were humans sent to the world?”, “How to gain questioning and contemplation?”, “Why is forgiveness important?”, “Do miracles really happen?” and “Why did Prophet Moses oppose Pharaoh?” were discussed.Bülbülzade Foundation's Education and Teacher Unit added a new one to its work with educators for children and young people and contributed to equipping the participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical approaches. The program ended with group presentations and general evaluation.

Bülbülzade Foundation Mosaic Unit and Anatolian Student Union organized a charity bazaar titled “Let's Build the Future with Hopes” to contribute to the reconstruction process of Syria. The event took place in front of Pusula Bookstore in Gaziantep University bazaar and was met with great interest from university students.At the charity bazaar, homemade meals, desserts and various handmade products prepared by foundation members and volunteers were on sale. Syrian volunteers of the foundation also supported this meaningful organization with the dishes and desserts they prepared at home. Participants had the opportunity to taste homemade pastries, cakes and different local delicacies. Handcrafted jewelry, ornaments and souvenirs were also sold for donation.The proceeds from the event will be used to support families in need, orphaned children and educational projects in Syria. In addition to strengthening social solidarity, the organization aimed to contribute to aid efforts to minimize the effects of the war.We would like to thank all volunteers, donors and participants who contributed to the organization of this meaningful event.We will continue to build the future together with the spirit of unity and solidarity.

Our Young Volunteers are in Srebrenica!The Youth Work Camp, hosted by MFS Emmaus, which is active in humanitarian aid, education, youth and health in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is being held between 14 July-25 July 2024. The camp, which was attended by 7 young volunteers from Bülbülzade Foundation and Anadolu Student Union, aims to help the construction of a campground for young people in the Pale region of Srebrenica.In the camp, which started with the opening speech of Nermin Alivuković, President of the Association of Srebrenica Mothers, young volunteers support the construction work while participating in cultural activities. Young people from different countries such as Turkey, Belgium, France, Serbia and Bosnia have the opportunity to cooperate with each other and have cultural exchanges.On July 25, the camp will end with a film festival called Silver Frame. They also organized trips to the history of the Srebrenica massacre and visited the mothers of the martyrs who lost their lives in this painful event. In the last days of the camp, a trip to Sarajevo will be organized and the young people will have the opportunity to explore other historical and cultural sites of Bosnia and Herzegovina.The youth work camp, which is attended by nearly 70 young people from different countries and cultures, increases the social awareness of young people and enables them to establish international friendships.

The traditional Spring Festival, which we organise every year with great excitement as Bülbülzade Foundation, was the scene of moments full of enthusiasm and peace this year. Our four-day event was enriched with sales at the stands opened by the units of our foundation and various interviews. Our Spring Festival hosted the social and cultural activities of our foundation and provided unforgettable moments for the visitors. Events and Talks During the festival, our foundation's Mosaic, Migration, Islahiye Earthquake Zone, Eke, Touch Life Orphan, Project, Media, Istiqrar Sports Club, Katre Art and Science Centre and Pusula Bookstore opened stands to promote their units and sell various products. While the visitors were informed about the activities of our foundation at these stands, they also had the opportunity to purchase valuable handmade products. In addition, expert speakers shared their knowledge and experiences in various interviews organised during the event. These talks provided the participants with new perspectives and increased social and cultural enrichment. Fun Activities for Children With the contributions of Bülbülzade Foundation's Eke unit and Project unit, we organised many activities for our children to have a joyful and fun time. Face painting, handicraft workshops, playgrounds and various competitions for children provided the little ones with pleasant moments. These activities also allowed families to spend quality time with their children. Gastronomy and Local Products In our Spring Festival, distinguished examples of gastronomy were also presented to our visitors. At the stands with local products and dessert varieties, the participants had the opportunity to taste the flavours that appealed to their taste buds. In our festival, where traditional tastes as well as modern flavours were presented, visitors went on a journey of flavour. Local products were carefully prepared and presented to the participants with the support of the volunteer women of our foundation and orphan mothers within the Touch Life Orphan Unit. Anatolian Federation Teacher Unit Meeting There was a meeting of the Anatolian Federation Teacher Unit management at our festival. . In this meeting, the work carried out in the field of education was evaluated and strategies for the next period were determined. The meeting encouraged the sharing of knowledge and experience among our teachers and contributed to the creation of a common vision. Joint Future Meeting One of the meetings organised within the scope of our Spring Festival was the Common Future Meeting held with Syrian Opinion Leaders of our city. In this meeting, participants from various fields came together and evaluated future plans and cooperation opportunities. The meeting enabled the participants to exchange ideas and develop joint projects. Moments of Peace and Happiness Bülbülzade Foundation Spring Festival, which lasted for four days in total, hosted moments full of peace and happiness. During the festival, the participants had the opportunity to mingle with each other and have a pleasant time. As a civil society organization, BEKAM discusses the topics that need to be negotiated to create a vision for the future in one-month periods. In the planned meetings, it is aimed to create an analytical evaluation opportunity about the issues discussed with experts in their fields and people with different perspectives. It is planned to determine the title of the sessions, to identify the participants related to the title, to create the sub-headings of the subject to be discussed, to prepare the physical environment required for the meetings, to determine the rapporteurs and to prepare the final report.MethodologyWe adopt a participatory and collaborative planning methodology that aims to create a common mind. It is aimed to reveal the most ideal scenarios without breaking away from reality and to transform them into innovative strategies with participants (twenty people) who are experts in their fields, who are responsible for their claims and claims.Participant ProfileParticipants are determined by the organizing committee. People who have read about the subject to be searched by focusing on, who have articles, book chapters, etc. are specially invited. Invitees are informed about the topics to be discussed and written or oral presentations are requested, provided that they make preparations before the program.Program OutcomesRapporteurs designated by the organizing committee attend meetings in each search group and take notes. Audio recordings are taken and missing parts are completed from the audio recordings. Participants are expected to provide written as well as verbal contributions. The notes taken are evaluated and turned into a final report. At the end of each meeting, a meeting report is prepared for no more than one month and published as a PDF. At the end of the year, it is planned to publish the BEKAM FOCUS GROUP MEETINGS REPORT for the 2023-2024 period, which includes all meeting reports, as a book.
