AKADDER completed its in-service training program, organized to strengthen awareness of individual transformation and collective work, on May 1–2 in Kozaklı, Nevşehir. The association, which continues its activities under the Anatolia Federation, evaluated the fundamental principles of civil society work during intensive sessions lasting two days.
In the first part of the program, Rabia Aldemir delivered a presentation titled “Stepping Outside the Routine.” Aldemir shared the protective boundaries of habits and their limiting effects on development. In her speech, she emphasized that arrogance disguised as goodwill is one of the greatest obstacles to individual development.
CONCEPTS WERE MADE VISIBLE
Workshops led by Clinical Psychologists Sena Aldemir and Meryem Zeynep Ötgün provided participants with an application-based experience. The process, which began with the “Icebreaker” game, continued with the “Island Game” and “Red Network” activities. Through these activities, concepts such as social privileges, personal boundaries, and human values were made visible. The session titled “The Rationale and Critique of Working Together,” moderated by Nesrin Karataş, featured Tansel Köseoğlu, Ayşe Okudan, Dürdane Ateş, and Mehtap Kaya as speakers. In the session, it was stated that civil society work is a search for meaning, while principles such as a sense of responsibility, shared concerns, and constructive solution production were conveyed.
