The workshop titled “The Role of Civil Society in the Preservation of Cultural Assets in Anatolia,” organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Oruç Reis Youth Association, was held in Gaziantep. Representatives of civil society organizations from Gaziantep, Kayseri, and other provinces participated as speakers at the workshop.
At the workshop, Hüseyin Rahmi Açıkkol, a member of the Board of Trustees and Management Board of the Bülbülzade Foundation, gave a presentation on the working methods of NGOs in Anatolia. In his presentation, he touched upon the impact of the Bülbülzade Foundation's work on the city culture of Gaziantep and explained how the art, sports, and cultural activities carried out within the foundation have been passed down from the past to the present.
After the workshop, Hüseyin Rahmi Açıkkol was presented with a plaque for his contributions to the program. The program ended with a group photo of the participants and a speech of thanks.
