The Education Curricula Workshop organized by the Anatolian Federation concluded after two days of intensive sessions at Bülbülzade Foundation, with a new roadmap established to carry the institution’s vision and civilizational ideal into the future.
The Education Curricula Workshop, organized to bring a dynamic and powerful momentum to the educational system within the Anatolian Federation, was held on June 6–7 at the Bülbülzade Foundation headquarters. During the two-day structural deliberations conducted without interruption across five different workshops, all sentiments, challenges, and concrete solution proposals from the field were comprehensively addressed. The workshop, shaped by the participation of experts and board members in their respective fields, emphasized the importance of remaining open to institutional renewal in the modern world, while the goal of establishing an original language capable of building the next century received the highest level of endorsement.
FROM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO THE HUMAN PEN
Evaluating the technical and institutional framework of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yayla stated that the educational programs being prepared should possess a quality fully aligned with the institutional identity and remain free from mechanistic characteristics. Referring to the importance of eliminating the uniformity and imbalance brought about by artificial intelligence in the current curriculum drafts, Yayla noted that the programs must be transformed into original works produced by the human pen. Emphasizing that these studies, which will be published by the Federation and presented to society, must reflect the institutional language and spirit one hundred percent, Yayla stated that technical review and editorial processes would be meticulously carried out over the next two months together with expert contributors. Following these efforts, the updated four modules will be implemented through practical applications with teachers participating in the upcoming Anatolian Gatherings.
EMPHASIS ON STRATEGIC INTELLECT
In his closing speech summarizing the philosophical background and institutional mission of the workshop, Turgay Aldemir, President of the Anatolian Federation and Bülbülzade Foundation, stated that this milestone, the product of long-term effort, had been completed with goodwill and success. Stressing that it is necessary to speak the language of the new era and the coming century, Aldemir underlined that the new curriculum should be far removed from abstract philosophizing and instead possess a system that is simple, clear, and directly focused on solving problems. Noting that institutionalization should function according to a “one-stop office” approach that produces results rather than cumbersome bureaucratic structures, Aldemir summarized the Federation’s two major missions with the following words: “We have two fundamental goals. The first is to keep the conscience of the people alive at all times in the face of the desensitization brought about by globalization. The second is to provide constructive contributions, rooted in Muslim thought, to the strategic intellects of decision-makers.”
SHARED RESPONSIBILITY IN THE FIELD
Stating that the vision put forward during the workshop would not remain limited to a theoretical framework but would be directly reflected in the field through the upcoming Summer Schools process and the Anatolian Gatherings, which function as a congress of ideas, Turgay Aldemir called on all contributors to take institutional initiative. It was stated that these efforts constitute a tremendous trust left for the future in the cause of reviving Islamic civilization and presenting it correctly to humanity, and that the qualified outputs achieved will soon be translated into different languages and shared with the entire world.
