The welcome dinner organized by the Secondary Education Unit of the Anadolu Student Union brought young people and educators together at the same table. The program, held under the roof of the Bülbülzade Foundation, laid out an exciting roadmap for the new term.
The most fundamental force shaping the future of societies rises on the shoulders of a well-equipped and conscious youth. The period of youth cannot be considered merely a period of time in which academic success is targeted. It is also the most valuable period in which spiritual, cultural, and social development is completed. The greatest responsibility placed on educators is to touch the hearts of children and prepare them for the future in the best possible way. Acting with this great sense of responsibility, the Secondary Education Unit of the Anadolu Student Union opened its doors wide to young people at middle and high school levels. The welcome dinner organized for 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade and YKS preparation students once again revealed the hope and excitement in the eyes of the young people.
TEACHERS SOCIALIZED WITH STUDENTS
The event, held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, between 12:00 and 14:00, took place in the warm atmosphere of the Bülbülzade Foundation Winter Garden. The speakers who participated in the program shared valuable information about contemporary and compassionate approaches that should be followed in children's education. During the gathering, where the details of the workshops and educational programs to be held throughout the year were shared in detail, the educators responsible for the programs also took a close interest in the students and socialized with them. Following the meal eaten in a friendly atmosphere, the participants became informed about the activities to be offered throughout the term.
AN INTERACTIVE QUIZ COMPETITION WAS HELD
In the later hours of the program, surprise activities prepared for the young people added great color to the atmosphere. Students and teachers played Kahoot together, both reinforcing what they had learned and having a great deal of fun. During this interactive quiz competition held in a digital environment, the hall was filled with laughter and friendly competition. At the end of the enjoyable event, small gifts were presented to the students as a keepsake of the day, further increasing the smiles on the young people's faces.
A VERY RICH CONTENT
A very rich content awaits young people in the new term. Within the scope of the program, activities such as book analyses, values education, and various cultural and museum trips that will broaden the horizons of young people are being planned. In addition, reading clubs, meetings with authors, and sporting activities will continue throughout the year without slowing down. Nature walks and nature camps, which will enable young people to spend time in close contact with nature, are also among the most noteworthy parts of the program. Study groups to be established to support academic success will enable students to move toward their goals with more confident steps.
YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE GREAT INTEREST IN MEDIA
Following the welcome dinner and informational meetings, there was another very special stop on the program. The students of the Secondary Education Unit visited the media floor after the event, taking their first step into the practical field of the world of communication. Here, the young people were given detailed information about the Middle East Media and Communication Center. While the young people had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the communication world of the future, they also left the institution with great motivation for the new term.
