A culture sharing day was organized by the Anadolu Student Union with the participation of young people from different countries. The event took place at Pusula Book Café located at Gaziantep University, with students attending from Italy, Germany, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and various cities of Turkey.
At the beginning of the culture sharing day, Anadolu Student Union Commission Chair Seyre Batuk and Celal Er provided information about the Union’s duties and responsibilities, past activities, and planned future projects and events. They also gave details about the Brotherhood Table organized by the Anadolu Student Union, the youth projects carried out within the scope of the Erasmus+ program, and the 'I Am Reading' project study groups.
The event, organized with the aim of strengthening bonds of friendship, enabled young people from different cultures to get to know each other more closely. At the event, which was also attended by Bülbülzade Foundation ESC volunteers, students shared foods, traditions, and stories from their own cultures. Students from Turkey offered local Gaziantep dishes such as baklava and lahmacun, and conveyed information about Gaziantep’s history, liberation, and cultural values. Following the cultural presentations, the program ended with a get-to-know-each-other activity.
