The president of the Istanbul-based Arakan Humanitarian Relief Association and its Education, Media and Aid officers visited our foundation.
During the meeting, information was received about the activities of the Arakan Humanitarian Aid Association for students. They were also informed about the educational activities carried out by Bülbülzade Foundation. The association stated that there are 250 Arakanese students in Turkey and that they are working with these students in many areas such as intensive leadership training, art and culture trainings.
It was stated that Arakan has a population of 5 million, 4.5 million of this population live as refugees around the world, while the remaining 500,000 people continue their lives as refugees in camps in Arakan.
After the meetings, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the Art Center, Sports Center and Middle East Media areas in the Bülbülzade Foundation complex and see the works on site.
