The Research Writing and Techniques workshop, hosted by the Bülbülzade Foundation, commenced with a presentation by Lecturer Tayyibe Gerçek.
The first session of the training program, organized through the collaboration of the Anatolian Student Union and the Bülbülzade Foundation, was held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The session, which took place in the Bülbülzade Foundation Meeting Hall, aimed to directly integrate young people into scientific research processes. The project, launched to help students develop a research culture, emphasized the importance of academic productivity and continuity.
ACADEMIC WRITING PROCESS
As part of the training, participants were provided with a detailed explanation of how to begin scientific research and how to identify a research topic and research problem. The intricacies of conducting an effective literature review, selecting the appropriate research methodology, adhering to the principles of scientific ethics, and the fundamental elements of the academic writing process were presented to the students. Particular emphasis was placed on how undergraduate students can actively participate in research projects.
NEW HORIZONS IN RESEARCH
Lecturer Tayyibe Gerçek, who delivered the presentation, shared examples from her own academic journey and research experiences, opening new horizons for the audience. The first session, which aimed to encourage students to engage in scientific production, concluded by creating strong motivation among the participants following the inspiring experiences that were shared.
