
President of Bülbülzade Foundation Turgay Aldemir, President of the Gaziantep Syrian Community Mustafa Hussein, President of Bekam Association Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, and members of the Bülbülzade Foundation Board of Directors visited the Azez Anatolian Cultural Center.
Within the framework of educational, cultural, and artistic activities, the visit to the Cultural Center located in Syria included discussions with the Director of Azez Anatolian Cultural Center, Mohammed Eyup, on the active functioning of cultural centers, ongoing projects, educational processes, and the situation of educators and students involved in these processes. It was stated that various training programs and activities are carried out in these centers in order to reduce the effects of post-war crises and to provide psychological support.
During the visit, classrooms, workshops, and courses were toured, and one-on-one meetings were held with teachers and students. Ideas were exchanged with teachers on the topic of culture. The teachers expressed that this Cultural Center is like the lungs of Azez, and despite the ongoing war, people find relief here through art and painting. Additionally, developments regarding the situation of the city of Azez before and after the revolution were discussed.
At the end of the visit, the teachers of the Cultural Center presented a painting they produced in the art workshop as a gift, expressing their gratitude for the contributions made to the city of Azez and the opportunities provided by the center. Furthermore, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Mohammed Eyup, Director of Azez Anatolian Cultural Center, for his contributions to the Bülbülzade Foundation, Anatolian Cultural Centers, and the Aleppo Liaison Office.
