The “Pusula” project, implemented by BİLİM-DER with the support of the Ministry of Interior, invites participants beyond screens into the healing world of books, conversations, and creation.
Amidst the constant rush and rapidly flowing digital content, how much we need spaces where we can rest our souls and take a deep breath. It is the desire of all of us to move even a little away from this passive consumer role. To read, to grasp an idea in depth, or to think at length about a text... It was precisely with this hopeful vision in mind that BİLİM-DER (Association for Science, Youth, Education, Social, Health, Culture, Aid and Solidarity) took a brand-new step. Supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Interior, the “Pusula: Youth Who Read, Think, and Produce” project has set out to touch the hearts and minds of us all.
AN OPPORTUNITY TO UNDERSTAND THE WORLD
This meaningful journey, which began as of August 1 and will continue until December 31, the last day of the year, promises participants a veritable cultural feast. As part of the project, participants are not subjected to an ordinary and boring training. On the contrary, they have the opportunity to question life and the world by coming together with valuable figures in five different talks. In five separate book analyses, they breathe in the scent of the pages and discover together with their friends the profound meanings hidden between the lines. In the magical world of words, they enrich their minds by drawing inspiration from each other’s ideas. During this process, participants do not remain mere listeners. Through five different workshops, they put their thoughts into practice and experience the indescribable joy of creating and bringing something new into existence.
