As part of our European engagements, a delegation from the Bülbülzade Foundation visited Görkem Barış Tantekin, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Brussels, and Onur Sevim, the Consul General in Brussels, at their respective offices to discuss the foundation’s activities and planned projects in the region.
During these meetings, held by our Chairman of the Board, Turgay Aldemir, and his accompanying delegation, we had the opportunity to share the foundation’s international vision and our ongoing projects across Europe with Ambassador Tantekin and Consul General Sevim. We specifically highlighted our work within the scope of Erasmus+ Youth Mobility and the vital role these projects play in helping our youth discover the world. We explained how the foundation strives to guide our young people by blending the ancient values of Anatolia with the opportunities of the modern world, spanning from education to culture.
The discussions also focused in detail on the role civil society can play in helping Turkish citizens and youth residing in Belgium maintain their cultural ties, as well as potential opportunities for local cooperation. A key highlight of the meeting was the importance of maintaining coordination between our foundation’s activities and our public institutions.
