The Education and Teacher Unit operating under the Bülbülzade Foundation held its first coordination meeting of the new year.
The meeting began with an analysis of the chapter titled “Global Weirding” from Ziauddin Sardar’s book Postnormal Times Selection. The agenda included the activities of the Digital Infrastructure Strengthening Office, the curriculum preparation efforts of the Anatolian Federation, the BEKAM Focus Group Meetings planned for 2026, and the details of the Talking Islam with Youth Workshop scheduled to take place on February 14. Planning was also carried out regarding the unit’s workshops held in recent years, such as Concepts, Little Hearts, Big Questions, and Talking Islam with Youth.
BEKAM MEETINGS IN FOUR SESSIONS
The four BEKAM Focus Group Meetings to be held in 2026 will begin on January 28 and conclude with the fourth session on April 29. The details are as follows:

Being a Family in the Metropolis: The Equation of Space and Poverty, the Digital Age, and the Cultural Industry Reformatting the Family – New Family Types

Youth, Marriage, and the New Generation’s Perspective on the Family
4th Session (April 29, 2026)
Child-Centered Family Model: The Effects of Decision-Making Dynamics in New Generation Families on the Institution of Family
TALKING ISLAM WITH YOUTH ON FEBRUARY 14
One of the main agenda items of the meeting was the workshop titled Talking Islam with Youth. The workshop will address how the new generation of young people interpret theoretical religious teachings and practical life in light of technological, social, and cultural transformations. While focusing on how traditional religious questions are redefined in the modern world, the effects of information entering young people’s lives through different channels on identity, belief, and social change will be examined in detail.

It was decided that Prof. Dr. Muhammet Enes Kala from the Department of Philosophy at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University will give a presentation titled “Young People’s Religious Searches: Identity, Faith, and Social Change.”
