Bülbülzade Foundation also took part in the Gaziantep Family Year Festival organized within the scope of the “Family Year” in cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Gaziantep Governorship and Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality by opening a stand. Starting on May 16, 2025 and lasting for 3 days in Gaziantep Festivals Park, our foundation participated in the festival with its Secondary Education unit, Katre Art and Science Center, İstikrar Sports Club and Project Office and attracted the attention of visitors with its various activities.
Various public and local institutions and non-governmental organizations from Gaziantep participated in the festival, which was opened by the Minister of Family and Social Services, Ms. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, and included family-themed activities, good news, raffles and surprises. Bülbülzade Foundation stand attracted great interest from the visitors with various activities. In addition to activities for children such as the “Palestine Flag from Painted Hands” event, fun face painting and mind games; plaster painting, nature, “Mother-Child”, “Father-Child” and “Colorful Canvases” workshops created an environment where family members could spend quality time together. In addition, the “My Notebook” workshop aimed to instill a love of writing in children. Sports activities, traditional children's games and live music concerts organized by the Foundation provided visitors with pleasant moments.
Especially the Kanun Concert of Katre Art and Science Center, which was staged in the festival area, received great appreciation from the participants. This special concert, integrated with the elegance of the notes, brought together both music lovers and families in an emotional atmosphere.
On the first day of the festival, Turgay Aldemir, President of Bülbülzade Foundation, visited the booth area and both followed the work of the foundation on site and gave a message of cooperation and solidarity by visiting the booths of other institutions and organizations. President Aldemir also met with the Minister of Family and Social Services, Ms. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, who opened the festival and held a short meeting. This meeting was a meaningful meeting that emphasized both the importance of Gaziantep Family Festival and the contribution of Bülbülzade Foundation to family-themed activities.
Gaziantep Family Festival will continue for three days at Festival Park between May 16-17-18, 2025. During the festival, a full program that appeals to all segments of society through educational science and art workshops for children, fairy tale narrations, traditional games; seminars and psychological awareness activities for families and social responsibility projects involving elderly individuals awaits visitors.
