Turgay Aldemir, President of Bülbülzade Foundation, Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, President of Bekam Association, Mustafa El Hüseyin, President of Gaziantep Syrian Community, foundation volunteers, unit managers and related officials visited Aleppo University Rector Prof. Dr. Fawaz Şehne within the scope of the program they organized to Aleppo city.
The visit program started with the “Cleaning Aleppo City” event with the White Helmets and a meeting with the Governor of Aleppo. Afterwards, the delegation met with the Rector of Aleppo University and exchanged views on the current situation of the university and possible future cooperation.
During the meeting, detailed information was received about the number of students, academic staff structure, active faculties and projects carried out at Aleppo University. In addition, information was provided about Bülbülzade Foundation's Anatolian Cultural Centers operating in safe regions, academic studies on migration and Syria, published reports, National Agency projects and studies carried out within the scope of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC).
