At the iftar program organized with the participation of our Foundation President Turgay Aldemir, we hosted more than 500 citizens with the support of philanthropists in Germany.
We continue to share the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan with our brothers and sisters in the earthquake-affected region. As the Bülbülzade Foundation Earthquake Coordination Unit, we hosted more than 500 citizens at our traditional iftar program, which we organized for the third time in Nurdağı. This blessed table, which we set with the donations of philanthropic Turkish and German citizens in Germany, once again demonstrated that solidarity knows no borders. The program was attended by our Foundation President Turgay Aldemir, our Earthquake Coordination Unit Officer Zemzem Çetin, Nurdağı District Governor Nurullah Cemil Erciyas, District Director of National Education Musa Yıldırım, Nurdağı Deputy Mayor Mehmet Özer, and Nurdağı District Public Education Center Director Mehmet Kurt.
WE ARE HERE UNTIL THE LAST WOUND IS HEALED
In his address to the participants during the iftar program, our Foundation President Turgay Aldemir emphasized that they have stood hand in hand with the state and the nation since the first day of the earthquake. In his speech, Aldemir stated:
"We gathered here as a big family. You opened your hearts to us; you became our home and our shelter. God willing, we will overcome this crisis together. As the Bülbülzade Foundation, we will continue to stand together until the last wound is healed."
BÜLBÜLZADE FOUNDATION IS ONE OF THE NGOs WE WORK WITH THE MOST IN THE FIELD
Nurdağı District Governor Nurullah Cemil Erciyas stated that they closely follow the foundation’s work in the district and expressed his gratitude. Erciyas said:
"Since the first day of the earthquake, we have witnessed very beneficial services in our district. The Bülbülzade Foundation is one of the non-governmental organizations we have worked with the most in the field. The entire team strives with dedication on a voluntary basis, without expecting any benefit, and solely for the sake of God."
As we enter the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, we pray that our acts of worship are accepted and that we reach a healthy Eid together with our loved ones. We will continue to remain in the field with all our means to heal the wounds in the earthquake region and to strengthen the bridges of brotherhood.
