The evaluation meeting for the 2026 Summer Schools, organized by the Bülbülzade Foundation and attended by a large number of students, was held at the Foundation headquarters.
The Bülbülzade Foundation Summer Schools, organized to help children in central Gaziantep and surrounding regions make more productive use of their summer holidays, continue with comprehensive educational programs. During the third evaluation meeting, held at the Foundation headquarters a few days ago with the participation of educators, the overall status of the educational processes was discussed in detail. At the meeting, both the increase in the number of students and the devoted efforts of the volunteer instructors were highly appreciated, while the details of the upcoming closing program were also reviewed.
POSITIVE FEEDBACK IS BEING RECEIVED
Educational activities carried out at various centers operating under the Foundation are attracting great interest from children. Thirty-seven students are attending the summer school at the Bilim-Der center, where handicraft and game activities add color to the program, and highly positive feedback is being received from parent meetings. At Semt-i İbrahimli Association, fifteen students receive training in various fields such as arts, excursions, English, and swimming, while fifty-six students are receiving education at Hayata Dokun Yetim Association. As part of the activities of the Anatolian Cultural Center, summer school programs are also being carried out in the Syrian cities of Aleppo, Jarabulus, Al-Bab, Afrin, and Azaz, including vocational training courses in various fields.
MOSQUE GATHERING ON JULY 22
Special importance is being given to children in the earthquake-affected region within the summer school programs. In the regional educational activities, which began one week after the Foundation center program with the participation of seventy students, lessons on exemplary personalities and basic religious knowledge are being taught. The need for educators in Nurdağı is being met through the support of volunteer students from the Imam Hatip High School and participants of the ESC program. In addition, books are being distributed to children in İslahiye in cooperation with the District Governor's Office, and book discussion activities are being organized. The summer schools of Katre Art and Science Center, İstikrar Sports Club, and Middle East Media Communication Center, which bring together art, sports, and media education under one roof, offer students rich educational content.
PREPARATIONS FOR THE CLOSING PROGRAM HAVE BEGUN
As the term approaches its end, preparations have accelerated for a large-scale graduation program to be held at the Gaziantep University (GAÜN) AKM Center. Before this grand closing program, where the work carried out by the units throughout the summer will be presented alongside an exhibition, a special Mosque Gathering event will be held on July 22 with the participation of families.
