Bülbülzade Foundation Chairman Turgay Aldemir hosted Gaziantep Branch Chairman of the Amateur Sports Clubs Federation (ASKF), Attorney Ömer Alper Köroğlu, and Vice Chairman Attorney İbrahim Ceylan in his office. During the meeting, a comprehensive exchange of views was held on Gaziantep’s sports culture and the current state of amateur sports activities.
The critical role of amateur sports in young people’s adaptation to social life and the opportunities for cooperation between civil society organizations and the sports community in this process were evaluated. Consultations were carried out on new projects that would strengthen the city’s sports infrastructure and support young talents. It was aimed to utilize sports as a tool of discipline and education, spreading from neighborhood culture to the entire city.
At the end of the meeting, the determination for Bülbülzade Foundation and ASKF Gaziantep Branch to act in coordination was emphasized in order to ensure more efficient functioning of amateur sports clubs in Gaziantep and to encourage young people to participate in sports.
