The first lesson of the "News Writing and Reporting" training was held at the academy, which was launched by ANTEB (Anatolian Technical and Office Employees Association) with the support of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Interior.
The eight-lesson training program, which aims to prepare the academy's participants aged 18–30 for the media sector, kicked off with the first lesson titled "Introduction to Journalism." During the lesson, participants were introduced to the definition of news, the elements that make an event newsworthy, and the fundamental workings of the journalism profession. Throughout the training, participants' news evaluation skills were developed through discussions based on case studies, alongside theoretical knowledge.
MEETING WITH THE MEDIA TEAM
Participants came together with the media team with whom they would work throughout the training process. During the meeting, participants were introduced to the content production infrastructure they would use during the training. Afterwards, they were informed about the academy's eight-week curriculum, course schedule, and the methods to be followed throughout the training process. During the briefing, it was emphasized that the program aims not only to equip participants with technical skills but also to help them develop a professional perspective.
