“Migration Services Center” protocol signed between Gaziantep Governorship, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and Bülbülzade Foundation.
In 2021, the protocol signed between the Governorship of Gaziantep, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and Bülbülzade Foundation for the establishment of a “Migrant Services Center” was extended with new processes regarding the situation of migration and migrants in the city.
Within the scope of the protocol signed by Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin and Bülbülzade Foundation President Turgay Aldemir, the “Migration Services Center” will continue its work on migrants and migration management processes of the city in order to contribute to strengthening the capacity of local governments in migration management.
The Center will carry out activities for information, improvement and coordination focused on safe return; counseling and guidance services for migrants; and activities, training and cooperation activities to support social cohesion.
