At the Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center operating under the umbrella of Bülbülzade Foundation, a session titled “Legal Awareness for Volunteer Teams” was organized.
Within the scope of efforts aimed at increasing legal and digital awareness among volunteer teams, the “Legal Awareness for Volunteer Teams” session was held at the Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center through the cooperation of the Anamel Beyda Volunteer Team, Banafsaj (Violet) Organization, and Bülbülzade Foundation. The session, organized to enhance the quality of volunteer work and strengthen its impact on the local community, addressed topics including the Concept of Volunteering from a Legal Perspective, the Rights and Responsibilities of Volunteers and Volunteer Teams, the Fundamentals of Legal and Digital Security, and the Importance of Legal Organization in the Sustainability of Social Initiatives.
LEGAL KNOWLEDGE AND FIELD PRACTICES DISCUSSED
The “Legal Awareness for Volunteer Teams” session aimed to increase the legal and digital awareness of volunteers and individuals working in the community field, introduce their rights and responsibilities, and explain mechanisms for conducting volunteer activities within safe and organized legal frameworks. During the session, positive interactions and constructive discussions were held, reflecting participants’ interest in improving their legal knowledge and applying this knowledge to their field activities. More than 20 participants from volunteer teams and associations operating in the city of Aleppo attended the session.
THE IMPORTANCE OF CONTINUITY EMPHASIZED
At the end of the session, the importance of the continuity of such awareness-raising meetings was emphasized. The role of these sessions in supporting regular and safe volunteer work, as well as their contribution to strengthening cooperation among active stakeholders in the local community, was particularly highlighted.
