Gaziantep MP Bünyamin Bozgeyik, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Aleppo Hakan Cengiz, Aleppo Governorate, President of the Anatolian Federation Turgay Aldemir, Founding Undersecretary of the Ministry of Family Kenan Bozgeyik, Business People Celal Kadooğlu and Mesut Acar, NGO presidents and representatives, prominent opinion leaders of the city and orphan children attended the comprehensive iftar gathering organized by Bülbülzade Foundation and Aleppo Governorate in Aleppo at Shahba El Sham Hotel.
The iftar program started with couplets and qasida recited by local artists; after the recitation of the Holy Qur'an, prayers were said and iftar was opened.
After the iftar meals, greeting speeches were made by the protocol members. Gaziantep MP Bünyamin Bozgeyik stated that Aleppo and Gaziantep are two sister cities, two cities that have been feeding and growing each other in industry, culture and art since the past centuries, and that the Turkish state is open to all kinds of exchanges, support and brotherhood in the following process with the revolution that came after this war, and wished Ramadan and Laylat al-Qadr to be blessed.
After commemorating with mercy all the martyrs who gave their lives for the peace and security of this country, Hakan Cengiz, the Consul General of Aleppo, said that the 14-year struggle between Syria and Aleppo was a struggle full of difficulties, that there were great destructions both politically, militarily and socially, but now we are all together as in today's iftar program and that we are happy to be able to look to the future together, and wished the month of Ramadan and Laylat al-Qadr to be blessed.
Turgay Aldemir, President of the Anatolian Federation, stated that it is a pride and honor to be in Aleppo, one of the most important commercial, political, economic and cultural cities of the world, and to break fast freely; that the liberation of Aleppo, Damascus and biladüş Damascus, one of the most important cities of Syria and the world, by the hands of the people of this geography, has enabled the beginning of a new process for the entire Islamic world and all humanity, and wished that the month of Ramadan and Laylat al-Qadr be blessed.
After the greeting speeches, local artists continued their couplets and qasida, while the children in the area had fun with the music.
The iftar program was an important program that enabled the local administrations of Aleppo, the governorate, representatives of non-governmental organizations and the administrators from Turkey to mingle with each other.
