“Human Decay; Global Issues, Critiques and Perspectives” 18th Anatolian Meetings Started

The first day of the 18th Anatolian Gathering started with greeting speeches. The program continued with the recitation of the Qur'an, followed by the greeting speeches of the meeting on “Human Decay”. The first speech was delivered by Mehmet Alpcan, Board Member of the Anatolian Federation. Then Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan made his greeting speech.

Mehmet Alpcan

Mehmet Alpcan, Member of the Board of Directors of the Anatolian Federation, started the greetings with his opening speech. In his speech, he introduced the main topic of the meeting, “Human Bozumu”, and mentioned the names who will speak during the day. He also mentioned the flow of the program.

Bülent Turan

Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan emphasized the importance of such gatherings in his speeches. He emphasized the role of NGOs and communities, noting that Turkey is a wall between western and eastern cultures, which creates a strategic burden. He concluded his speech by referring to the political pressures on the Paris Olympics.
