The Bülbülzade Foundation Secondary Education Commission organized a comprehensive two-day holiday camp for high school students on November 13–14. Throughout the camp, various seminars and training sessions were offered to the students.
The camp began with a presentation by Gaziantep Red Crescent Provincial Women’s Branch President Zemzem Çetin titled “Our Values in Family and Social Life,” in which she explained to young people the importance of value awareness. This was followed by psychological counselor Neslihan Sever, who drew attention to the risks encountered in the digital world with her presentation on “Cyberbullying.” Lastly, Bülbülzade Foundation Director Zeynel Kaplan delivered a “Discover Yourself” training session aimed at enhancing students’ personal awareness.
In addition to the trainings, students conducted workshop activities by discussing sample cases encountered in family and digital life through the method of empathy cards. During the volleyball tournament organized with the support of İstiklal Sports Club, students both competed and enjoyed their time. Students also prepared handmade chocolate in the kitchen workshop. At the end of the program, a quiz covering all the content studied throughout the camp was held, and various awards were presented to the students who ranked the highest.
We congratulate all students who successfully completed the camp and thank the parents and contributors for their support.
