As Bülbülzade Foundation, we continue to carry out meaningful projects to support the social and psychological rehabilitation of earthquake survivors in İslahiye and Nurdağı. Within this scope, we came together at a wooden painting workshop in Nurdağı.
Since the first days of the earthquake, we have never left our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster in İslahiye and Nurdağı alone. We have been in the field for three years, working with all our strength to ensure that life goes on. In the districts where we have hosted numerous projects and activities to date, our Sewing and Tailoring Courses continue to provide services. We keep implementing meaningful projects to support the social and psychological rehabilitation of earthquake survivors. Today, under the slogan “Touching Hope with Colors,” we organized a wooden painting workshop in Nurdağı to erase the traces of the earthquake. We came together through the healing power of art.
HEALING TOGETHER
As part of the workshop, young participants showcased their creativity by coloring wooden objects according to their imagination, while also sharing the spirit of solidarity that comes from being together. Bülbülzade Foundation Earthquake Region Coordinator Zemzem Çetin stated:
“We want to erase the traces of the earthquake together and recolor hopes within the texture of wood. By coming together with people affected by the earthquake, we produce artistic value and heal together.”
