The Read and Comment Project camp was held in two different cities, Mersin/Silifke and Kocaeli/Kefken, between March 1-3. During the camp, topics such as "reading culture, cultivating the tree of knowledge and deepening literacy" in civil society were discussed with the presentations of invited speakers.The invited speakers participated in Kocaeli/Kefken campsite and made their presentations on different days. The presentations were "Reading, Being and Becoming" by Turgay Aldemir, "Reading Culture: The Cornerstone of Sustainability" by Necat Yazıcı, and "Deepening and Analyzing Literacy Workshop" by Ali Özcan.On March 3, the last day of the camp, a debate event titled "Should we read print books or digital books" took place. After the debate, activities such as folk dances, traditional archery and marbling art were organized. Finally, gifts were presented to the participants and the camp ended with a photo shoot.

The analysis of Hayrettin Karaman's book "We Talked Islam with Young People" was moderated by Esma Taş. The analysis was realized with the narrations of Zülal Özyurt and Betül Aydağ. The interactive analysis was made productive in the light of in-depth examinations.Hayrettin Karaman, who touched on important issues such as Islamic ideas in Turkey, intellectual movements, youth formations, the place of women in social life, the vision of civilization and the actions that young people should take for the future, has created a long-term road map by determining from which perspective to look at many issues encountered in daily life and which basic measures should be taken as a criterion in his book "We Talked Islam with Young People".The program ended with the comments and thoughts of the young people who participated in the analysis.

The Organization Unit held its organizational meeting at the foundation headquarters on Monday, February 26th.The main agenda items of the meeting, which was held with the participation of the members of the Organization Unit, included general information, the functioning of the commissions, the activities to be carried out during the month of Ramadan, iftar programs and campaigns, and corporate preparatory work and consultation evaluations.

Zemzem Çetin and Şehadet Gerçek, board members of the Mosaic Women's Association, which operates within our Foundation, met with Ahmet Selim Köroğlu and Ayhan Oğan, Chief Advisor to the President, Yavuz Selim Kıran, Deputy Minister of Family and Social Policies, and Oğuz Düzgün, Head of the Department of Active Labor Services.The main agenda of the meeting was the activities carried out by Bülbülzade Foundation and Mozaik Women's Association, as well as the activities and collaborations following the recent earthquakes. Foundation representatives explained in detail the humanitarian aid work carried out during this difficult period and their efforts to provide the support needed by the society. This important meeting is crucial for strengthening the state's cooperation with civil society organizations and increasing social solidarity. The visit also underlined the importance of the steps being taken to increase the resilience of society in the face of disasters and to improve the lives of people living in the affected areas.

On 23-24 February, Mozaik Women's Association organized an in-service training program on 'Psychological Resilience' at Gizem Doğan Campground.On the first day of the program, games were played to introduce the participants to each other and the activities of Mozaik Women's Association in 2023 were presented by Şehadet Gerçek and Meryem Özlü. In addition, a forum on volunteering was organized by Hatice Sohbet and Zemzem Çetin.On the second day, participants participated in a morning walk, climbing in groups, archery and buçce games. A presentation on 'Psychological Resilience' was given by Rabia Aldemir, Chairperson of the Board of Directors. This was followed by a presentation by Mehmet Abdullah Aksoy, Deputy Secretary General of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality.Under the moderation of Fadime Eminoğlu, an interactive forum was organized with the participation of psychologists Rabia Çiçek Üstündağ and Elif Çevik Kartal. In this forum, questions were answered on topics such as 'moments of feeling psychologically resilient, factors that increase resilience, whether resilience is vulnerability and how optimism affects resilience'.The event ended with a souvenir photo and the distribution of gift bags to the participants.

In-service training programs for center teachers and students organized by Anadolu Cultural Centers continue.The seminar program, which covered the first three articles of the book "Being a Family", was held on Tuesday, February 20, with the presentation of Meryem Özlü and Şehadet Gerçek, with the participation of teachers and students of Jarablus Anatolian Cultural Center.In the seminar, which took place in an interactive environment; the basis of society is not the individual but the family, paradise-oriented family, humanity is a big family, the exemplary family model in the prophets, superiority is not in gender but in taqwa, family is the cradle of productivity, family, tradition and religion.The seminar ended after the question and answer session.

On Sunday, February 19, Consultation Talks were held at our foundation headquarters. The program started with breakfast and the units operating within our foundation shared the presentations they prepared through the projector.In the program, the Anatolian Student Union Commission, Secondary Education and Teacher Commission, Syrian Migration Commission, Tradesmen Commission, Mosaic Women's Association, Bekam, Touch Life Orphan Association, Project Unit, Katre Art and Science Center, Financial Unit, İstikrar Sports Club, Eke Unit and Media Unit gave information about their activities and future planned programs. In addition, general information about the general functioning and structure of the foundation was presented to the participants.During the meeting, information about our foundation's Kurtuluş Forest was shared and detailed information about the GES (Solar Energy System) project under construction within the foundation was shared. The activities carried out at the Compass Book Café were also shared with the participants.The event ended with a speech by Turgay Aldemir, President of the Foundation. Aldemir emphasized the contributions of the foundation to the society and how future projects will continue to provide social benefits in line with the mission of the foundation.

On Saturday, February 17th, Pusula Book Café hosted an analysis of Mehmet Görmez's book "Youth's Search for Meaning". The event was moderated by Mehmet Ali Güneş and presented by Dilara Osanmaz.In this special analysis event, in the context of the book, the crisis of meaning experienced by people, especially young people, and the solutions to this crisis were examined in detail through ten different titles in the book. The book was aimed to shed light on the search for meaning that young people and people in general are going through and to offer solutions.

Within the framework of the cooperation of Bülbülzade Foundation and Rahme Association, aid trucks prepared for the oppressed people living in Syria were sent to Syria with a ceremony from Hatay's Cilvegözü Border Gate. The aid trucks set off to be delivered to those in need in the region. Speaking at the ceremony, our Foundation President Turgay Aldemir emphasized the importance of helping each other for the future of our geography. "The relevant units have incredible work; we should meet each other and try to do more. Otherwise, we will only complain under the oppression of imperialists. These lands have witnessed a lot of suffering. From now on, the people of these lands should no longer be the subject of aid, but should undertake a mission for the future of the region. In addition to aid activities, we should also focus on education, culture, art, diaspora and ideas. We should increase the areas of cooperation for permanent solutions in the region." Since the first day of the civil war, Bülbülzade Foundation has been active in national and international arena in many fields, especially in education activities, and has been standing by the people of the region. This cooperation has the mission of drawing attention to the humanitarian crisis in Syria and supporting the oppressed people.

The 7th Youth Camp organized by the Anatolian Federation Secondary Education Commission with the theme "Responsible Youth" was held at the Akkum Youth Camp in Mersin-Silifke between January 24-27. The camp started with introductory activities and continued with high school students' presentations on "Carrying Responsibility", workshops on "Palestine" and a presentation on "Volunteering and Teamwork" by Şamil Kılıçparlar, President of the AÖB. On the third day of the camp, Necat Yazıcı, Head of the Education Unit of the Anatolian Federation, gave a presentation titled "Embracing Time" and Ahmet Turan Koçer, Head of the Strategy Unit, gave a presentation on "Value-Centered Leadership". During the camp, young people performed all their prayers together and reinforced their spiritual unity. In addition, they played matrak, intelligence and street games with the camp leaders and had fun by taking nature walks and organized music activities together. On the last day of the camp, the camp ended with a quiz competition and a group photo shoot. This camp, which aims to increase young people's awareness of personal and social responsibility, provided valuable experiences for the participants.

Our Foundation organized a special search and rescue and first aid training for the crisis coordination team at Gaziantep Disaster and Emergency Provincial Training Building between 26-28 January. This training was aimed at increasing the operational capability of the team against the increasing number of natural disasters in our geography and strengthening social and institutional resilience against crises.This three-day training program was given by expert teams and included detailed information on search and rescue, first aid, earthquake, flood, fire and many other natural disaster risks. As a result of the trainings, Bülbülzade Foundation completed the accreditation process to the AFAD Presidency and made its team ready to act professionally in partnership with institutions against all kinds of natural disasters and crises in our region and our country.

Under the leadership of our Earthquake Zone Islahiye Coordinator Zemzem Çetin and our volunteers, a full day of activities was organized for about 60 earthquake survivor children from Islahiye. The children visited the Zoo, one of the city's favorite spots.Our Foundation offered lunch to the children after the zoo visit. After lunch, they enjoyed the music festival organized by the teachers of Katre Art Center.Following the activities, the December 25 Panorama Museum was visited. During the museum visit, the historical and cultural richness of Gaziantep was introduced to the children. This special day was an experience that provided both knowledge and morale to the earthquake victims.
