Gaziantep Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) Provincial Representative Chairperson Lütfiye Taş and the delegation consisting of the board of directors visited our foundation.During the meeting, information was received about the activities of the Women and Democracy Association for Women. In addition, information was given about the women and children's activities carried out by Bülbülzade Foundation.As Bülbülzade Foundation and KADEM Provincial Representative, opinions were exchanged about the work and activities that can be done together. It was decided to create common working grounds especially in projects related to women and youth.After the meetings, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the Art Center, Sports Center and Middle East Media areas within Bülbülzade Foundation and see the works on site.

Touch Life Orphan Association organized a breakfast program with university students at Bülbülzade Foundation headquarters. The program started with breakfast and continued with a music concert performed by Katre Art and Science Center teachers.Hatice Sohbet, Vice President of Touch Life Orphan Association, gave a speech to inspire the participating students. Then, Seyre Batuk, President of the Anatolian Student Union, and Celal Er shared the activities planned for the scholarship recipients. After Fadime Eminoğlu, representative of Mosaic Women and Family Association, conducted a group work on Volunteering and Social Responsibility, the breakfast program ended with a group photo.

A delegation consisting of Turgay Aldemir, President of Anadolu Federation, Mustafa El Hüseyin, President of Gaziantep Syrian Community, Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, President of Bekam Association and representatives of Bülbülzade Foundation attended an important meeting hosted by GLOCA International Civil Society Organization in Aleppo.GLOCA, which operates in Turkey, Syria and various parts of Europe, is known for its work in the business world and civil society. Industrialists, business people and representatives of non-governmental organizations from Aleppo and Gaziantep participated in the meeting.Agenda and Highlights of the MeetingThe meeting focused on trade regulation, industrial and civil society developments and enhancing regional cooperation. The main issues discussed were:Establishing a sustainable system that regulates the commercial life of industrialists and business people,Organizing symposiums and workshops on the developments in all sectors after the revolution in Syria,Develop a mechanism through which civil society organizations in Syria can work in coordination and cooperation with the government,Organizing similar sessions in Aleppo, Homs and Damascus with the participation of businesspeople and representatives of civil society organizations,Implementation of joint programs to transfer the knowledge and experience of Bülbülzade Foundation in various fields to Syria.Turgay Aldemir “When we heal Aleppo's wounds, we will be healed too”Speaking at the meeting, Turgay Aldemir, President of Bülbülzade Foundation, emphasized that Aleppo has strong ties with Turkey throughout history and said:“Aleppo's people, industry and culture have developed and grown our cities and our country. Today, when we heal the wounds of Aleppo, we will also be healed. As businesspeople and civil society representatives in Syria come together with their counterparts in Turkey, the work in the region will progress in a healthier way.”Turgay Aldemir concluded his speech by stating that economic development means empowerment not only for individuals but also for families, cities and countries:“When we empower people, families are also strengthened. Strong families bring development in industry, trade, universities and cities. Therefore, we need to carry our joint work further.”The meeting, which ended with positive wishes and emphasis on cooperation, was completed with a mutual agreement to organize similar organizations in the future.

Within the framework of Bülbülzade Foundation's educational, cultural and artistic activities, a team consisting of Turgay Aldemir, President of Anatolian Federation, Mustafa Hüseyin, President of Gaziantep Syrian Community, Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, President of Bekam Association and representatives of Bülbülzade Foundation visited Al Bab Anatolian Cultural Center located in safe areas.Within the scope of the visit, the active functioning of the cultural centers, the activities carried out, the educational processes and the situation of the educators and students involved in these processes were discussed with Cemal Osman, Director of Al Bab Anatolian Cultural Center. In addition, classes were visited and one-to-one meetings were held with teachers and students.Anadolu Cultural Centers, as institutions providing education in 15 branches to students between the ages of 5-35 in Al Bab, play an important role in normalizing the region and healing the wounds of war. The cultural centers continue their educational and various activities uninterruptedly, taking into account the dynamics of the region.

The delegation gave detailed information about Bülbülzade Foundation's work on Syria and migration issues. Especially the ones carried out so far:Anatolian Culture Centers,Common Future Meetings,Civil Communication and Coordination Meetings,Information was provided on activities such as Aleppo Liaison and Consultancy Office.In addition, ideas were exchanged on the projects planned to be realized in Syria in the new period.Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center Project was evaluatedOne of the important agenda items of the visit was the Anatolian Cultural Center project planned to be opened in Aleppo. While detailed consultations were held on the location and functionality of the cultural center, opinions were shared on how the center could create an impact in Aleppo.At the end of the visit, the Arabic works and reports published by the Anatolian Federation were presented to the Aleppo Provincial Directorate of Culture officials by Turgay Aldemir, President of the Anatolian Federation.

Ali Eminoğlu, President of BEKAM Association, Mustafa El Hüseyin, President of Gaziantep Syrian Community and Cemal Akıncı from Anadolu Federation Foreign Relations Unit visited Ambassador Hakkı Emre Yunt, Gaziantep Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in his office.During the meeting, information was given about the activities carried out by Bülbülzade Foundation in Azaz, Afrin, Jarablus and Al Bab regions, especially in Aleppo. While the activities of the recently opened Aleppo Liaison Office were conveyed, evaluations were made on the projects planned in the region. In this context, the details of the projects planned to be implemented in Aleppo such as the Anatolian Cultural Center, Radio Project and Orphan Empowerment Center were discussed.In addition, solution proposals regarding the permission and protocol processes encountered regarding the projects to be carried out in the field in the new process of Syria were discussed. A new one of Bülbülzade Foundation's periodic consultation meetings was held on February 10, 2024 at the Foundation headquarters. The main purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the activities of the units actively working within the Foundation, to make consultations for the development of these activities and to exchange views on important issues on the agenda of the country and the world.In the program, Foundation Trustee İbrahim Özmantar made a speech about the upcoming Ramadan. In the meeting moderated by Bekam Association President Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu and Hamdi Keleş, Head of the Tradesmen Unit, the activities of the Anatolian Student Union, Touch Life Orphan Association, Mosaic Women and Family Association, Children and Secondary Education Unit, Tradesmen Unit, Education and Teacher Unit, Bekam Association, Project Office, Aid Unit, Islahiye Earthquake Zone Unit and other important working areas were evaluated.In addition, the activities of the Art Center, Sports Center, Media Center, Zade Life Hotel, Immigrant Services Center and Pusula Bookstore, which provide professional services within the Foundation, were briefed.The program ended with the closing speech of Turgay Aldemir, President of the Foundation.

The second mobility of the “Young People Take Care of Nature: Green Skills” project, which started on January 27, 2025 in Strasbourg, France, has completed its second mobility. This event was realized within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA152 project supported by the Turkish National Agency and carried out by the Green Hope Association in cooperation with EMU Association from France, USAP Akademiker Platform from Germany and Bridge Association from North Macedonia.The First Step was Taken in GaziantepThe first mobility of the project was organized in Gaziantep in November 2024. Here, young people addressed global environmental issues and participated in workshops on topics such as environmental justice, clean energy, the costs of pollution and green advocacy. In addition, young people were encouraged to develop their green skills through various site visits and environmentally friendly practices such as planting saplings.An Intensive and Productive Program in StrasbourgThe second mobilization in Strasbourg started with practical activities aimed at putting the knowledge gained in Gaziantep into practice. This was followed by field visits on sustainability practices in the city.Participants within the program:✔ Inspected renewable energy projects and carbon neutral transportation systems in the city.Met with municipality officials for the protection of green spaces.Participated in interactive workshops on environmentally friendly individual living practices.Brainstormed on community-based environmental protection projects and developed solutions.Young People Look to the Future with HopeOne of the most remarkable parts of the event was the environmental awareness campaign. In order to raise social awareness on sustainable living, young people interviewed local people and prepared awareness messages. They also directly contributed to nature through hands-on activities such as tree planting and environmental cleaning.The main objective of the project is to enable young people to understand global environmental issues, develop sustainable solutions and become environmental pioneers in their communities. At the same time, through such mobilizations, young people have the opportunity to build international social networks and learn about the European Union's environmental policies and the concept of active citizenship.

On February 6, 2023, Yunus Keklikçi and his sister Zeynep Keklikçi, one of our foundation executives and volunteers who lost their lives in the earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş, were commemorated with prayers at their graves on the second anniversary of the earthquake.During the visit, the Holy Quran was recited and prayers were made for the deceased. Condolences were conveyed to the family relatives and patience was wished.

On February 6, 2023, two years have passed after the great earthquake. Today, we were in the earthquake zone again with the same sense of responsibility as on the first day. Within the scope of the commemoration programs, we visited İslahiye Earthquake Martyrdom and Osmangazi Sewing Workshop.At the earthquake martyrdom in İslahiye, we commemorated those we lost with prayers and shared our pain. After the visit to the martyrdom, we met with our earthquake victim trainees at Osmangazi Workshop, one of our sewing workshops that has been operating since March 2023. We presented various materials to our trainees, whom we have been trying to support financially and morally for two years, so that they can produce in the workshop. We prayed for their lost relatives. Our Foundation President Turgay Aldemir emphasized that “we will continue to stand by them as we did on the first day”.We wish God's mercy to all our earthquake martyrs who lost their lives and patience to those left behind.We continue to strive with the sensitivity of the first day to share the pain and raise hope.

Since the first day of the earthquake, Bülbülzade Foundation has been working in İslahiye and Nurdağı to meet the needs of the region. These activities, which we have carried out to meet the needs of all segments from children to young people, from adults to the elderly, and to heal the wounds, have set an important example of solidarity for our society.In this context, Nurdağı District Governor Mr. Nurullah Cemil Erciyas presented a Certificate of Appreciation to our foundation.
