Bülbülzade Foundation is a non-governmental organization established in 1994, adopting the principle of “the development of the land and the reform of generations” as its guiding philosophy. The Foundation carries out activities in many fields such as education, health, culture, arts, sports, food aid, humanitarian assistance, youth, women, family, environment, volunteering, media, research and development, migration and integration, and international relations—primarily in Gaziantep, as well as in many parts of Turkey and around the world.
Since its establishment, Bülbülzade Foundation has touched the lives of thousands of people. In addition to providing support in areas such as education, health, food, shelter, employment, vocational training, and social integration, the Foundation also implements various projects to meet the needs of refugees. Within this scope, it aims to facilitate refugees’ integration into society by offering services such as education, healthcare, psychological counseling, vocational qualifications, entrepreneurship, employment, and social cohesion.
Bülbülzade Foundation also continues to contribute to the cultural, artistic, sports, and media life of Gaziantep. Through its affiliated units such as Katre Art Center, İstikrar Sports Club, Şafak Radio, Middle East Media, and BEKAM, the Foundation supports the city’s social and cultural development. Furthermore, in cooperation with its internal stakeholders such as Anatolian Student Union, Mosaic Women’s Association, and Touch Life Orphan Association, the Foundation carries out activities focused on youth, women, and orphans.

Gaziantep has been an exceptional city that has served as an important center of culture and civilization throughout history. One of the city’s spiritual guides is Müderris Bülbülzade Abdullah Edip Efendi. Having received education from various madrasahs, he advanced in scholarly knowledge, became a faculty member at Dar’ul Fünun, and left numerous works in the fields of education, healthcare, and social services in Gaziantep.
