Gaziantep Provincial Police Chief Celal Özcan and the accompanying delegation visited Bülbülzade Foundation. During the visit, Foundation President Turgay Aldemir gave comprehensive information about the activities and projects of the foundation.During the meeting, artistic, sportive, cultural and educational activities of Bülbülzade Foundation were discussed. It was emphasized that the projects carried out within the foundation appeal to all segments of the society and especially the work for the development of young people is at the forefront.During the visit, detailed information was also shared about the hotel recently opened by the foundation. It was stated that the hotel, which aims to contribute to the economy and social structure of the region, also creates resources for the foundation's sustainable projects.The delegation was also informed about the nature and environmental activities carried out by the foundation within the scope of the Forestry Project. It was stated that these projects of the Foundation aiming to raise environmental awareness were appreciated.At the end of the visit, Provincial Police Chief Celal Özcan expressed his satisfaction for the contributions of Bülbülzade Foundation to Gaziantep and its surroundings and emphasized the importance of such cooperation and projects. Turgay Aldemir expressed his happiness for the visit and stated that the foundation will continue to contribute to the society.

Anadolu Federation organized an Education Workshop hosted by Bülbülzade Foundation. Unit presidents and members attended the workshop. In the workshop, education in civil society, education processes, academic career planning and thematic reading were discussed.In the workshop where workshops were held on various topics, ideas were exchanged on issues such as diversifying the level of knowledge in educational processes, informing educators about the goals and objectives of the Anatolian Federation, keeping the awareness of maturing educators on the road (in the process) and keeping their level of maturity alive, continuing their nutrition based on revelation and morality, gaining qualifications to continue cooperation with academia and knowledge centers to produce and disseminate knowledge, increasing the level of responsibility and action of educators in the target audience of our work against social decay. In addition, expectations from volunteers were discussed in order to achieve outputs in concrete areas such as reading comprehension and putting what they understand into practice, being aware of the responsibilities arising from volunteering, knowing that they need to renew themselves in their fields of interest, acquiring competence in line with the principles and objectives in the main themes of “Effective speech, qualified people and permanent work” and participating in activities within this scope. In the last session of the three-day workshop, the workshops were consolidated.

The “Artificial Intelligence” camp organized by the Secondary Education Commission of the Anatolian Student Union for middle school students during the mid-term break was held. Various workshops, activities and lectures were held during the camp program.The first day of the camp started with an introductory event. Then, students designed their own music with the “Designing Music with Artificial Intelligence” workshop.In the “I Meet Artificial Intelligence” workshop, students made visual designs using artificial intelligence with the guidance of educators.The camp program also included workshops to improve hand-eye motor coordination, such as the “Designing Life on Mars” workshop and the “Tangram” workshop. The “Artificial Intelligence” camp ended after a bağlama concert.

Touch Life Orphan Association organized the third of its trip programs to help high school students shape their career goals for the future.The program started with a seminar hosted by Bülbülzade Foundation. In the seminar, information about the business world was given. In addition, students were consulted about their future career choices.At the end of the program, a visit was made to Ravanda Carpet Factory with the students. The success stories of the factory owners from the past to the present with labor and perseverance were listened to. The trip program ended after the collective photo taken together.

The “It Is In My Nature” camp organized by the Secondary Education Commission of the Anatolian Student Union for high school girls during the mid-term break was held. During the camp program, various workshops, activities, lectures and nature trips were organized.The first day of the camp started with an introductory event. Then, the lesson titled “What the Nature Verses Tell Us” was taught. In the lesson, verses on nature and human balance, recycling, waste and environmental awareness were discussed.The camp program included workshops to develop various hand skills such as leaf art workshop and ceramic workshop. Students created various materials in the leaf art workshop and created their own ceramics in the ceramic workshop.After the “Nature and Our Emotions” workshop with the station model, the first day of the camp was completed by watching the documentary “Home”.On the second day of the camp program, a nature walk was organized in Sof Mountain, the highest region of Gaziantep with an altitude of 1400. The camp program ended after taking a group photo at Sof Mountain.

Bülbülzade Foundation Aid Unit President Talip Çelik and the accompanying delegation paid an auspicious visit to Mr. Ali Yılmaz, who was appointed as Şehitkamil Red Crescent Branch President in the new term.During the visit, information was given about the aid activities carried out by our foundation for migrants, earthquake victims, orphans, women and children. In addition to shelter, food and health services for migrants, support such as language and integration courses were also provided. Emergency aid activities, temporary shelters and psychosocial support programs for earthquake victims were also shared.In addition, the importance of educational scholarships, stationery support and social activities for orphaned children was emphasized. Activities such as vocational courses for women, health seminars, education programs for children, play and art workshops were also detailed.Mutual consultations were held to further develop and expand these activities. It was agreed to implement joint projects and strengthen cooperation in areas where society needs.

Supported by the Turkish National Agency and implemented by the Green Hope Association, the first event of the project “Young People Protect Nature: Green Skills” project's first event started in Gaziantep.The project, carried out in cooperation with EMU Association from France, Us Akademiker Plattform from Germany and Bridge Association from North Macedonia, aims to direct young people to environmental issues, raise awareness about global environmental problems and promote resilience.The activity started with introductions and breakfast. Afterwards, the participants visited the activity areas of Bülbülzade Foundation and Green Hope Association and received information about the organization. Turgay Aldemir, President of Bülbülzade Foundation, Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, President of BEKAM and Cumali Kaplan, President of Green Hope Association emphasized the responsibilities that civil society should assume in the field of sustainable environment. Participants shared information by presenting examples of good environmental practices in their countries.Environmental Activist İbrahim Kılıç made a presentation titled “What Can Young People Do for Environmental Sustainability?”. After the presentation, a question-answer session was held and the thoughts and questions of young people on the subject were evaluated. After lunch, a city tour titled “Sustainable Cities” was organized under the guidance of Hüseyin Rahmi Açıkkol, President of Gaziantep City Council Sports Working Group.The week-long program will include activities such as group discussions, project development workshops, a visit to an energy production and recycling center, sapling planting and a visit to Bülbülzade Foundation's Salvation Forest.

Anadolu Student Community analyzed Byung-Chul Han's book “Enfocracy: Digitalization and the Crisis of Democracy” at Pusula Kitap Kahve.In the program moderated by Gülay Şanverdi and presented by Enes Günaslan, concepts such as information regime, dataism, transparency, panoptican, isolation, behavior profile, fragmented time and disclosure culture were discussed. In addition, the importance of a critical approach to global concepts was emphasized by drawing attention to the fragmentation of time and the effects of digitalization on social structures.
